Workshop

Best practices to build the HR BPO business case

GlobalHRstudio Focus Workshops Series

La Maison de la Recherche, Paris

Fourteen HR Executives gathered at the historical Maison de la Recherche on Paris' Left Bank, with ADP’s Senior Director of Global Consulting Michele Gray, ADP’s Vice-President of Global Consulting Christine Stanowski and Co-founder & Partner of CorporateLeaders Karsten Soderberg as guest speakers, to discuss how companies should best approach the task of developing a comprehensive HR BPO business case.

This business case is the fundamental building block for influencing key stakeholders, and serves as the foundation for subsequent actions once a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) program has been approved.

The Human Resource Business Process Outsourcing business case provides a full analysis of Human Resources processes today, as scenario of how Human Resources should operate in the future, a roll-out plan for transitioning company from “present” to “future”, and a line-item detail of the investment needed to support the transformation alongside a breakdown of the projected Return on Investment (ROI).

The precise reasons why companies embark on Human Resources Transformation vary, but overall point to a few universal themes.

Once the future design of the company has been established by the Board, the critical question of how the vision is to be achieved comes to head.

The process of ruling out all other potentials scenarios should be complete by the time work starts on the detailed Human Resource BPO Business Case.
